Big Ben Big Ben. This is England's parliament building. Note the war protesters in front. Big Ben, The Parliament building, and the River Thames. The Tube. "Mind the gap." Beware of scheduled maintenance on the subway, especially on the weekends. The announcements are not clear to tourists ( at least not this tourist ). I gave myself plenty of time to get to the train station but scheduled maintenance caused me to have to take the long way around and I missed my train. Train station in London.
